First Baptist Childcare Center is a ministry of First Baptist Church. We are a non-profit organization and therefore receive a licensing exemption from the Alabama Department of Human Resources. We do, however, adhere to DHR regulations in regard to student teacher ratio and safety standards.
In order for children to grow spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally, and socially they must become aware of God through His son, Jesus Christ, and His importance in their lives. Therefore, we use a biblically based curriculum to teach our students. It is our desire to establish the foundations that will lead children into a relationship with Christ, establishing a background for growth in the many other aspects of their lives.
Children are provided a delicious, hot meal each day (sandwiches on Friday), and have regularly scheduled fun days and field trips. The children love our playground too.
It is also our desire to establish a relationship with and become a credible resource for parents.
We strive to provide a safe, clean, environment for your child to learn about the world around him or her through academics, games, music, art, playtime, quiet time, friendships with peers, and relationships with teachers.
We respect the privacy of our children and parents, and we provide a state of the art security system, which provides access only to parents, and those authorized to drop off and pick up children.
