For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh.” So they are no longer two, but one.
–Jesus, quoting the Old Testament in Mark 10:7-8, NIV
We do weddings because we believe in marriage. The Bible says that marriage between a man and a woman is both a God thing, and a good thing. Before God set in place government or the church, he established marriage– the family.
Our beautiful sanctuary, built in 1970, and renovated in 2004 has been the setting for many weddings. A large, beautiful hardwood stage area with extra wide steps, which was constructed in 2008, can accommodate several wedding attendants. We also have available audio and visual equipment that can enhance your wedding.
Some couples choose to get married in The Patterson Chapel, which was built in 1917. It is a beautiful, yet smaller and cozier sanctuary.
